LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
My name is Lauren. I am way imperfect but Jesus has covered me in forgiveness. I’m a bit of a hippie. I’m a bit of a rebel. I wear my heart on my sleeve and want God’s love to win.
My husband and I started dating at the age of 15. At 16 we were pregnant and I had our first daughter at 17, 24 days after I graduated high school. I was an only child whose parents divorced when I was 14 and I completely rebelled and took my future into my own hands. I felt like I lost my family so I forced my own will and started my own.
It is only by the GRACE OF GOD that we have made it through two decades, an almost divorce, four children, 6 moves, a career change, the loss of a parent…you get the idea…LIFE. Our journey made a major turn when we stopped forcing our own will and started following the God that created us.
It’s hard to explain, but once you accept this spirit into your heart and grow to know Him deeper (through His word the Bible), it’s as real as any relationship you have with someone you can see.
Everything I am and do I want saturated with Him. I’m super excited to share this study of James with you!
