Bible Verses To Help Women Through Their Busy Everyday Lives

You get up out of bed, head straight to the coffee pot, then stand for way too long under the hot water in the shower. Then it’s getting ready, getting the baby ready, taking care of the dog, and trying not to leave the house like it’s been ransacked by vengeful robbers.

Dropping off at daycare, running late to work. Tackling that TDL while trying to remember all you have to do at home after work. Quick lunch in the break room. More coffee.

Pick up the baby, run the errands, figure out dinner (pleeeease start planning your meals ahead of time. I’ll show you how), quick trip to the grocery store during cooking dinner because you’re out of that one ingredient.

Finally sit down with your man for dinner. Awwww, fifteen minutes of relaxation.

Ok, clean up after dinner. Laundry, baby’s bath time, quick work out in the square foot of space in your bedroom, and it’s time to call it a night.

Hey, it’s every day life! Sometimes it can get a bit stressful, a bit overwhelming. And as Christians we know that growing in the word of God (the closest thing to a manual for life) is what’s going to help us make it day to day through life in this broken world. So today I’m going to share the Bible verses that come up through my day to day exhaustions adventures 😉

Note that a lot of these verses are paraphrased as I mentally recall them not word for word from a particular bible translation but from the impression they’ve made on my heart and my not so perfect memory.

When up in the morning showering (the only quiet time we get, am I right?) and saying good morning to the One who created me and gives me daily breath. Marvel at who your Father is and invite Him into your day.

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

Isaiah 43:15

Search my heart and know me, O God.

Psalm 139:23

You shall love the Lord with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul.

Matthew 22:37

When driving to work and I’m late or the kids are fighting or I catch every.single.red.light. When cut off in traffic or passed by someone going waaaay too fast. Know that their actions are not personal towards you. Deep breathes…

I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music

Psalm 101:1

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Matthew 7:12

But I have calmed and quieted my soul.

Psalm 131:2

When I’m reeeeally annoyed with the coworker that’s trying to micromanage me or correct me when I know think I’m right

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10

Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

James 1:26

And let us consider how to stir others up toward love and good works

Hebrews 10:24

Walk in love

Ephesians 5:2

When I’m exhausted and absolutely have to have that mid-afternoon caffeine kick. When I’m stressed out and frustrated and ready to call it quits on whatever it is.

Be anxious in nothing, but in everything with prayer and thanksgiving present your requests to the Lord. And the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind.

Philippians 4:6&7

He alone is my rock and salvation and I will not be shaken

Psalm 62:2

When I screw it all up, stick my foot in my mouth, or lose my cool. Give yourself grace and continue the race. You are cherished.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works

Psalm 139:14

You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:1

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but are justified by his grace in redemption that comes through Christ.

Romans 3:24
